The legend of Bigfoot has haunted us for quite some time now. Pictures of Bigfoot crop up and are analyzed by experts. Some have been deemed organized photography; others have been proven to be digital fakes. And the remaining pictures are still pending judgment. If you want to stake your claim and start looking for opportunities to photograph Bigfoot, you need to learn basic hunting skills. After all, you will be hunting a creature with a camera instead of a gun.

The first thing that you have to do is to set up an operations zone. You have to know how far you can photograph and how far you expect your quarry to be in. you can set up blank flags around this area so that it wouldn’t be too difficult for you to know this. After all, a photograph is only so clear in a given distance.

The next thing that you have to do is to notify other people in the area of your current position. This is because you don’t want people to walk into your sights and ruin your prepared area. You also don’t want people to just steal your show. You can achieve this by setting up a danger flag right above you. This will make anyone who spots you keep a certain distance away. After all, it is universally understood that you just don’t go near a mark like that.

Once you have all these set up, you can wait for your quarry to come out. Keep in mind that you could be wrong and it could just be a hoax. But that shouldn’t stop you from taking a photo should the opportunity present itself.
