Custom canopies are protective structures which shield us from the changing weather conditions outside. It is similar to a building, except that there are typically no walls, and just the roofing which is made of tarp or any similar material. Generally lightweight in design, these may be setup and put down if the need arises such as when relocating.
One area where these custom canopies are suited for use are in schools, more specifically in primary schools. Kids are generally engaged in outdoor activities during break time, and during these times, they are at risk of being overexposed to the sun’s rays or perhaps rain, both of which are quite detrimental to health. Custom canopies provide the much needed protection, and are quite effective during both sunny and rainy seasons.
Other times when these canopies are effective is during outdoor learning activities and related learning experience. Teachers are able to bring the class outside and continue to provide activities and lessons without worrying too much on the outdoor exposure. By changing locations for learning, kids are constantly presented with new environment for effective learning.
Another use for the custom canopies is during break time. Other than just being mere protection for kids situated outside, these serve as mini hubs where kids could congregate and mingle with one another and share their snacks or swap stories, thereby providing excellent avenues for psycho social development.

There are different sizes and shapes for these that are available in the internet. Depending on the outdoor area space available and the population of students who would be using these structures, school administrators may plan and choose accordingly.

During the colder and wet season, it serves as shelter for the kids whenever it begins to pour. In these instances, it becomes clear that these structures are a reasonably affordable as a necessity.
In other instances, these custom canopies may serve as outdoor classrooms for lectures and related learning experience for the kids. Teachers may now more effectively teach beyond the four walls of the classroom, and further learning by keeping the environment related and conducive for learning.
During break time, these structures serve as a perfect venue for socialization as kids share a common area to have their snacks and mingle with other students. These also serve as added landmarks for the kids’ imaginations when playing in the field.

Planning and foresight to these ideas would definitely be a great way to further increase the learning process and the overall development of children in primary school. Custom canopies, with their optional customization options may be tailored to fit the needs of the school depending on the size of the outside playing area and the population of students.

Tents and custom canopies go beyond the usual chill and relaxation shelter set up in the garden or lawn. They are as effectively used for more functional and logistical purposes such as external storage for stuff that are just too bulky and messy to be stored in the house. The main idea of this use is of course more of being a shelter to the harsher elements such as the sweltering heat of the sun, as well as the dampening rain.
Thanks to the internet and global competitiveness, companies selling these merchandise are met with proactive competition to provide customers and clients with better value for quality items and options. Furthermore, innovations and wider options for clients are realized when choosing custom canopies for a wide range of reasons.
Custom canopies are distinct in a way that they are usually structured with a high ceiling clearance and are generally wall less, with only the posts to block the continuity of access from any side. Some common shapes are either circular or square. Some, however, opt to create custom shapes such as 5 or 6-sided shapes to further customize the canopy to their liking.

As canopy tents, they may function as mere shelter. They shift their purpose from temporary protection to a more rigid form of outdoor storage. Classic uses in this manner are carports, where this option is highly favorable when the idea of having a fixed solid structure just isn't viable mainly because of financial or geographical in nature. Serving the same effectiveness, these custom canopies are generally fire retardant and resilient to weather.

Custom canopies are not only suitable for the outdoor chill and rests, but more importantly to shelter something of value even if they are just stored outside the home. The key idea is to provide a viable solution to the harsh weather conditions, especially the scorching heat of the sun.
One thing good with globalization and the internet as the information highway is that business competition causes a good effect even in merchandise such as custom canopies in a way that tough competitors would be focused on giving the best value for the buck and durability.
In general, all the decently and well known brands of these items use attractive and strong materials. Functionality wise, these custom canopies serve a myriad of functions such as garages, outdoor storage facilities, garden fixtures, portable outdoor solutions, nurseries for plants, and so much more.
These custom canopies are characterized with high clearance tents hoisted at the corners or around the perimeter with upward frames, and are typically one without sides for accessibility. There are also other shapes and designs from the usual round or square shaped ones, and even custom prints and add-ons for that custom feel for the owner.

One of the more commonly used purpose for these are as canopy tents, functioning as carports, especially when the idea of building a fixed structure such as a garage itself is quite impractical and costly for the meantime. Built with strong industrial grade materials, they serve excellently against the heat, rain, and even the unexpected fire, thanks to their fire-retarded surface.

The word canopy is defined as anything that is found on a higher location such that it creates a ceiling effect to the ground below, thereby providing shade or shelter to sunlight or weather elements, respectively. One such example is the ceiling level of trees in a given area, where the highest located leaves and branches create the same effect to the ground below. You may imagine a picturesque image of Acacia trees lining standing across the savanna. Custom canopies on the other hand are man-made structures akin to tents which provides the same effect. Basically there are two types:
Portable canopies are characterized with smaller area of coverage. What it lacks in coverage and the flimsier design of materials it makes up for the portability and ease of setting up and taking down. It also provides an added advantage of being used in single to small group setups which just requires an immediate form of shelter such as when at the beach or when having a meeting by the front lawn.
Another main type of custom canopy is the garage canopy. Generally, these types of canopies offer the reverse of the first type. As these canopies are geared for greater coverage and sturdier support, their portability is compromised. In sense, they are used more for stationary fixtures such as “housing in” heavier things such as cars, small motorboats, and even personal heavy equipment.

These custom canopies types are more about function, size, and characteristic when being classified. The purpose actually depends on the user.

By the most common definition of the word, a canopy is any part of an overhead location which renders a shade to anything underneath. One of the most common examples is the tree canopy which is the top part of trees spreading wide over an area and providing some sort of shelter to the ground underneath against the heat of the sun. Similarly, custom canopies which are variations of tents and the like also serve as coverings and temporary shelter to the ground it covers underneath.
While the term canopy is generic in nature, custom canopies vary in types, depending on the function and purpose they are made for.
One of the most common types is the portable canopy which is mainly made of light materials, usually of plastic, foldable, and may be easily setup and dismantled. Ideally, they only cover a small area, usually for personal or small group setups. A few square feet coverage, these canopies trade-off their portability with durability.
Another type of canopy is the garage canopy. In this setup, the materials used are sturdier, usually made of metal frame and ballasts, with a wider are of coverage. Some designs of these types are designed to “house in” vehicles, even small speedboats, and other similar things. The defining characteristic of these custom canopies is the portability, as they are more rigid, and more stationary.
There are even more designs such as the garden canopies, pop up canopies, and many more, but as a rule of thumb, all these boil down to the issue of portability and purpose.

Making your own Flag Cases is easier than you would think, especially to the handy craft hobbyist. Here are the steps in making them.
First, you would have to have the base material. Getting yourself an angle board which measures around 16.75 inches from short point to the other, make sure that cutting from a big piece of wood would have a couple of inches extra for allowances and possible mistakes. In this regard, you may opt to have a bit more allowance, thus cutting an initial 20 x 20 inch short point to short point.
Once you have your small piece, your next objective is to rotate it to 180 degrees, and cut the short point, thereby giving you now a long point. At this time, you will see that you have two 45 degree cut angles. Since you turned it 180 degrees, the grains will then be parallel.
When you create the bottom piece and match it to the angled cuts, you may see some extra wood sticking out from the edge. No worries there as you may just pencil mark the excess and saw it away and finish it with refined sand paper.
The technique in getting a good cut for your flag case is to anticipate the pattern of the grain of the wood. Since you would be meeting the top and bottom 45 degree angles, it may be good to tack the frame together or hold it before cutting in order to visualize how it would end up after cutting.

The reason why you can see a lot of feather flags being used is
because of their huge success of being functional and being effective
marketing tools for advertising and promotions. They have the right to
be used as much as possible because of the different pros and benefits
to advertisers, both small and big alike. From internal functions like
balls and closed room functions to external events such as fairs,
bazaars, and booths, these flags have found their niche in being one
of the primary media for the task.

The unique shape of feather flags and how they are hoisted adds a
refreshing look to it, thereby increasing the chances of being noticed
and perused. The arc spine which serves as the pole runs on one of the
flag’s sides up to the top curve, allowing it to be unfurled without
the need for strong winds for the information to be seen. Furthermore,
even the slightest winds do wonders to these feather beauties as they
dance and ripple on the unsupported side – increasing its effect to
catch the attention of onlookers.

Easy to put up and be relocate, thanks to the lightweight materials
from pole to the fabric itself, it may be easily relocated to places
where human traffic may have shifted. Another method found to be
effective is to have multiple setups lined up along a pathway,
creating an illusion of being accompanied as you pass by. This
amplifies and heightens the overall natural curiosity of people to
just take a second to look, only to be drawn into the hypnotic ripples
of these feather flags lined up in front of them.

Cheap, effective, and portable, feather flags are definitely a top

choice to consider when wanting to promote or advertise.

Feather flags are already awesome in their own right. They are great
in grabbing the attention of anyone passing by. They are natural
customer magnets, thanks to their manner of “swaying” and dancing with
the slightest of breezes. These effective marketing tools are unique
in the sense that they can stand alone even without the wind helping
it unfurl for others to see – thanks to the curved arc frame running
from the top curve, down to one of the sides, and all the way down to
the base ground.

Lightweight and easy to setup, the redundancy effect of having
multiple copies of these feather flags displayed in sequence amplify
its effectiveness in grabbing the attention of people, even those who
have no initial business with the information printed on it. People
love seeing things in abundance, and even those who are indifferent to
the idea are otherwise drawn by their curiosity over the repetitive
arrangement, thereby effectively snagging a couple more potential
clients.

What is another good thing about feather flags is that printing and
designing it is almost as easy as doing it on paper. Made typically of
polyester or similar synthetic fabric, the printing methods available
today are highly compatible and suited for these materials, thereby
giving clients the assurance that the design and printout would stay
as crisp and clear.

Even well established companies advertising their name in events do
not even place much information. Just their standard color and a well
placed name on the middle or upper third of the feather flag, and they
are set to be as effective to remind people to try their products and

services.

The advertising and promotions industry is like a live coin with a
fickle mind, and then flipped to see whether it lands heads or tails.
With the different views and perceptions of people of whom this
industry is catered to, the chances of having an effective and
positive outcome requires constant flexibility to accommodate changing
wants and moods. The media to which advertising has grazed upon its
fate number from oral to old print form on paper, to radio,
television, banners, streamers, computers, and the like. Even modified
forms such as neon signs and feather flags have been utilized for
variety.

The art of effective advertising rely mainly on the knowledge of some
basic things. One of these is simply placing the self as the viewer.
As a rule of thumb, if it does not make you retain information or
entices you, then most probably it will not with the general public.
This is why some have taken down pointers and notes to find a more or
less stable trend on how to create advertisements.

For example, the use of feather flags nowadays are easily recognized
and given attention by people, especially when placed in key locations
such as sidewalks of busy streets of main entrance and exit points of
establishments. But the art or “science” as others refer to does not
end there.

The colors and layout also greatly matters. For instance, some have
determined that the overall ratio of image to information share on a
specific flag area should be 30% versus 70%. Anything more than that
for the former would shift attention of people to just retaining the
logo, and overshadow the supposed retention of information

accompanying it.

The world of advertising and promotions has been constantly evolving,
not without the lack of variety and innovation. With the potential
effect on would be clients, success lies in the effectiveness of these
flags to entice people to accommodate the information being conveyed.
People love seeing fresh methods, colorful ads, and enticing media
such as feather flags or streamers.

Years of experience and self made studies by institutions and
businessmen have created a kind of guidelines to follow for a more
effective approach in advertising. Even the shape, placement, and
colors used have been found to play a big role in capturing the eyes
of the intended market.

For example, the use of high contrast colors allows greater visuals
for people, especially when trying to convey specific information or
details. Even the proximity of an eye catching logo with the intended
information has an effect on the retention of information. Placing the
logo in the middle of a feather flag for example and just having the
pertinent information placed around it might not be as effective since
focus of attention will be drawn towards the image in the middle.

One of the latest alternatives in media presentation are feather flags
and have been found out to be as effective, or perhaps even more
effective in advertising in key locations such as sidewalks and
entrances to establishments, thanks to their portability and mobility
to be relocated to key locations that have the highest human traffic.

With the proper material, enticing layout, and appropriate content,
the better will be the retention of one’s business with clients and

potential patrons.
