We cannot deny that the free downloads of movies and video hosting sites have deeply hurt the income of the movie industry. A lot of people nowadays prefer to just watch the movies that they have waited for in the comfort of their own homes, where they can press pause if they want to go to the bathroom, and they can easily press rewind to go back to a scene they missed, or press slow-mo for a clearer look at a waving Russian Imperial flag to catch its figures in a war movie.

However, I still think nothing beats the experience of having to watch your longed-for movie in the silver screen, at a well air-conditioned place, with carpeted flooring, reclining seats, with high quality surround sound. Of course not all cinemas are exactly like that, but you get the picture. Movies have also been great date destinations, especially during first dates, because it erases the awkwardness because of a shared interest (a movie watched). Let's revive these experiences with movies!

If we really want to bring back the classic beauty of watching our most awaited flicks on the big screen, then we should schedule movie nights with our friends, family, our significant other or even a date with just ourselves! It's also a great way to bond with our loved ones because watching movies on a movie house shuts us from the rest of the world. Unlike online, where an IM could easily disturb. Or at home, when somebody knocks on your door, or your kid gets too rowdy. Some attention flags huh? So Watch movies at cinemas again. They're like magic. A great way to de-stress.

Lately, the Koreans are truly making waves in the global scene. And you don't need a South Korean flag in your house to prove that. Number one, they have a lot of romantic dramas that a lot of people really love. I've read somewhere that in Asia, you can trust the Chinese to make a really good action movie, the Japanese to make a really good horror movie and the Koreans to make the best love stories ever.

But it's not just that for Korea in entertainment.

Koreans also are known to have really funky tunes in K-pop and a lot of people in the west also patronize K-pop! Teenage girl groups such as 2NE1 and Wonder girls have millions of hits in Youtube, a worldwide video sharing community. Their tunes are mostly very jumpy and catchy. This makes Korean music or K-pop a timelessly appealing genre in music.

Koreans are great in fashion too! We've heard of a lot of cute Korean dresses, edgy apparel for men, eyewear and exceptionally cute legwear! Since winter happens in Korea, their wardrobes are filled with for-all-seasons clothes, extending collections of all hip Korean designers. Even Korean models are in demand nowadays because they're the best ones to carry such fashionable clothing, and the world truly loves their collection.

Aside from the growing number of Korean students and workers all over the world, a lot of Korean influence has also invaded the rest of the world. Gone are the days when invasion was capture of one's citizens, subjecting them to new rules and sticking your world flags out on their land. So be prepare for more Korean flavor! They just keep getting bigger and bigger!

A baby is a blessing, a new addition to this colorful world, another citizen vowing to be responsible. And a baby is also a symbol of happiness to a set of parents. A baby shower celebrates this kind of delivery because life is supposed to be celebrated well.

Baby showers are actually hard to plan. First, you need to round up an expecting mom's friends and you also need to gauge their feelings towards her (the expecting mom) regarding the pregnancy. Usually, if it is unwanted, the baby is supposed to be just delivered in silence, no parties, whatsoever. However, if the child is much anticipated, then, by all means, that's the green light for the party.

Next, you need to have a budget. Baby showers work like common parties: you spend for the invitations, the decorations and other communication expenses. Sometimes you even have to hire a professional planner, if you want the event to turn out to be just the way you wanted it.

Lastly, you need to conceptualize how the party will actually look. If the baby is planned to be christened Christian, it's nice to see little Christian flags all around the place. If the child already has a given name, use custom mini flags with his or her name printed on it with a pastel hue and put it in the kits, all around the house, or you can even print the invitation at its back.

By now, perhaps you have a lot of things to make sure perfect. A baby shower is a delicate and endearing event. Good luck in planning yours and don't forget to pray it doesn't rain!

Flying is always and exhilarating experience. Once upon a time, the thought of flying has spurred the interest of our ancient master, constantly designing different models to emulate the flight of birds. Leonardo Da Vinci once thought of creating flying machines to take him up to the sky and touch the clouds and fly with the birds.

Several designs were made, such as the hot air balloon which became an important tool for scientist during the old times for test flights. But it was Orville and Wilbur Wright who were able to create and apply designs of the first aeroplane. Even if the machine only lasted for seconds in the air it started the revolution that enabled humans to fly at the present.

Today the Airbus A380 is considered the master of the skies. Considered as the largest commercial plane ever built, with its four strong engines I could imagine it gaping tons of air capable of changing directions of airport flags. It's supposed to cater for more passengers and give them extra comfort compared to the existing planes in the mainstream. I have never ridden on one just yet but im hoping to ride one in the future.

Riding on one is also a painstaking task as well I guess, since as far as I can remember only Singapore air had the chance to purchase one of those. It was reported that British Air is gonna buy 20 of them but to when it will be available is something I do not know. I hope more will be available in the future.

As of the moment, The flight simulator would be enough to fill my imaginations of riding an A380. Taxiing across the tarmac, waiting in line to use the runway and see the airport flag flutter with the wind, that sure is a wonderful sight. The best thing is that I'm the captain and I'm the one to choose where to land again.

Today, most people are confronted with millions of things to do in one day. For one, this is due to the rise of technology. Before, we were workaholics because there were so many places to go to, so many people to approach, etc. Today, the same deadlines stand, but we are expected to do so much more due to our handy organizers, our multi-tasking cellphones and the power of internet communications.

Lately, more people are also getting sick due to stagnation. Because we eat our meals on-the-go, we usually forget about nutrition. Because we want shortcuts to losing weight, getting straight hair and acquiring fair skin, we use chemicals which harm our health in the long run. The thing is, our lifestyles are getting more and more dangerous.

A lot of programs focus on bringing back the natural state of our health by treatments. But are they enough? If we continue being workaholics, I personally don't think that our bodies' conditions will straighten up like street pole banners during elections. Taking care of our bodies somehow seems tiring but we need to do it using little approaches. For example, focus on what you're eating SERIOUSLY. Veer away from junk food and if you must eat fastfood, try to counter the bad effects by exercising or drinking fruit shakes or eating fruits. If you think you have no time to job, go to the mall and do an hour's worth of window shopping. Imagine how many calories that would burn! Plus you didn't have to feel like exercising!

Lastly, get a good night's rest. Don't wait for the attention flags to shock you in the form of cough, colds or flu. You don't want that getting in the way of work now, do you?

The university is one of the freest areas in the world. First, you go there by choice, you pick a course of your choice, you pick your subject's schedules, you choose what to wear, and you can go out of the campus and get in any time of the day. Plus there's an absence quota, which lets you savor the part of you who is truant and spend some days in sheer skipping - class glory. Waving the college flags just yet?

The freedom might daunt you at first. A lot of kids leave their towns to go off to great colleges which are halfway across the country or a few miles away from home. Remember the time when you were looking back, outside your window and waving goodbye to your family? All you can think about was a cocktail of anxiety and the looking forward to your newfound freedom.

In college, we are designed to enjoy being social and intellectual beings, as every college or university encourages a well-rounded individual. It is like high school, yes, but in college, you are older, more mature and you are forced to be more independent. Statistics show that people who rake high incomes and have fast advancement in the corporate world are also the people who have almost unblemished college records (no matter what the high school records said).

So when you finally go off to college, do not screw up. It doesn't mean that when you graduate you need to have memorized the 189 Member Complete UN set or you've mastered English grammar or the quadratic equation by heart. But it means that you are a totally new individual, capable of making good choices and ready to venture into the real world, the world outside school.

You probably might have heard of a lot of articles which tell you how to look good in pictures. There are pieces of advice about hiding your double chin, smiling with your eyes, standing and sitting straight, etc. But there is so much more than just looking good in pictures. Here, we have a few tips on how to truly impress in pictures. (You can use these tips for pictures posted in your social networking accounts!)

1. You with a hobby. If you're into playing an instrument, then have a picture of you playing that instrument or holding it lovingly (but don't make it too fictitious). It paints a you and a passion close to you, making you look like a person who values art as an essential part of life and living.

2. You with a political message. You and political flags will do the trick, but if it's more specific, like you and a Democrat flag or a Republican flag will surely impress. It paints a principle you, which is always impressive because we like people who are aware with what's happening in the country.

3. You with the Family. Only a few people are proud of their families AND ARE NOT AFRAID to show so. This paints a you who is sensitive and family-centered, an attitude that most of us value, but most of the time too scared to be labeled a wimp to admit so.

4. You and an achievement. Whatever achievement it is, whether it's you and racing flags for winning the latest drag race competition, you and a medal for nailing first place in a Science bee or you and a Ms. Illinois sash, any form of achievement is always impressive. It paints a you who goes after what you want.

Holidays speak of long afternoons, meaningful walks in the park, and, if we have money to spare, shopping. Holidays are like company bonuses, albeit in the form of time and not money. During holidays, we find ourselves resting and lounging, catching up with some things we missed due to work or school. Some of us find it fun, but a number also find themselves bored during such days. Here are some fun things to occupy our holidays:

1. Home BBQ - Grill juicy red meat for lunch or dinner and couple it with beer and a lot of singing! Spend the day with your college buddies. If you're feeling a little more reminiscing, you can hang your college flag in on the grill side and chat your favorite college moments away.

2. Board Game day - This is a great activity for families. Board games are fun, educational and most of all, cheap! You can drink (non-alcoholic) punch while you're at it too! Careful not to stain the custom table banner! My top picks are scrabble, monopoly and Chinese checkers.

3. Shopping - Well, if it doesn't burn a hole in your pocket, go shopping! Reward yourself with new things for working so hard during non-holidays! Give the 'sale' and the corporate logo flags some justice now and pull out the wallet!

4. DVD Marathons - Now is the time to make up for all the episodes you missed because you were too busy with your regular drill. This can also double as a movie day! Whip out the popcorn and it's time to get in touch with your inner potato couch today!

There have been numerous articles expressing how 'simplicity is beauty' and how outside appearance don't really matter. The truth is, no matter how much we try to reaffirm ourselves that what's inside is really what matters, we cannot deny that impressions help a lot in building our perceptions towards people and that something good or grand looking has a bigger chance of winning us over.

Take, for example, you are at a bar. You see two women, one looks really gorgeous and one just looks so-so. The latter is actually slightly smarter and than the former but you ask the former's number anyway because she caught your eye. You began getting in touch with this gorgeous girl because she caught your eye. Then you realize she's not so bad after all and that she has, in fact, a very bubbly personality. If two of them had exactly the same attributes then you wouldn't have found out anyway because the one is as plain as the Libya flag, and the other as elaborately beautiful as the Fiji flag. Obviously, you'd go for the one who's elaborately beautiful and won't mind the other one.

Simplicity MAY BE beauty but it takes more than mere beauty to capture hearts. It takes a great personality, good countenance and manners to do that. I guess the saying simplicity is beauty was made popular because we don't like seeing people overdo things. Too much make-up, too much accessories and too much spunk at once seems like a personality hurricane rather than a becoming lady.

Is there anything sweeter than dreams of love and more hurting than a recurring nightmare?

For people, having dreams of love gives them a reason for existence. It's amazing how love can turn someone's life around. A total change of personality, from being cold and nonchalant to being so jolly and friendly, a result of a sweet dream. The moods swing from a cold winter's breeze to an array of poly pennant streamers that signify a fiesta. Yes, people say that nothing compares to a sweet dream. Like being in love, people think that it won't ever end. A sweet dream containing false hopes unless the love they have is true. But, when they see they're sweet dreams end everything falls apart. Love turns into hurt. Smiles turn into tears. Hearts melt and the nightmares start.

Pesky and recurring, these nightmares haunt us. A dead love, never seize on telling us that there is still a chance. We accommodate the thought that there is still hope but when we see fall banners we can't help but cry. We know in the back of our minds that the love we had is losing its sight on us. Like the falling leaves of a tree every time fall comes. The hard part is accepting that the dream you had is now a nightmare that haunts you. So sweet yet so distant.

We dream of being with the ones we love but when we wake up once more realty bites us in the face. A thought that constantly brings us to regret. Reality is the nightmare we live in. The real things that are temporal. We have always been in this nightmare but we have the choice to make it a dream. A dream that would never end or at least last until our last gasp of air.

A lot of people find it difficult to handle money when they're young. As evidence, a lot of young adults who just had their first job spend their salaries on things which are wanton or extravagant. Usually, they end up with nothing, or gadgets which depreciate faster than your toenails grow. Here are a few tips for the young to be financially secure:

1. Get an income source. The first step, is, of course, to make sure that money is coming in. Find a job that you actually like, not one which only pays well but bores you to death or tires to the point that you bad-mouth it everyday. Good vibes, right there. Find your passion and look for ways to earn while you're at it.

2. Save! This is a staple! You should CONSISTENTLY SAVE a portion of your income. Set up a percentage of your income and save regularly. It doesn't matter how big or how small as long as you remain faithful to your saving scheme.

3. Build up a nice credit standing. If your salary can afford it, open a credit card account and engage in it responsibly. In the future, when you decide to get a loan (a car loan, a house loan, an investment loan, etc.) the clean slate will be useful.

Now, aside from those three, you have to really spend your money wisely. Be frugal. Don't let your wallet itch everytime you see a Pizza Hut flag or a Burger King flag. It's about time that you take charge of your money matters. If it's not now, when?

When we start a business, we put all our love and time into it. We plan out well, we hire the best people, we amp up our inventory and top it off with really good marketing. A lot of businessmen say that during the first year to two years, the business may start out weak and losses will be incurred however, during the years after that, it should be doing well or it is not meant to go anywhere. If you find yourself caught in the loss rut for quite sometime, maybe business isn't really going anywhere unless you put some action.

First, take a look at your office or work place. Is it something that is nice to look at? If you work there, would you look forward to seeing it and being in it, or does it bore you to death and work just seems harder because of that? If it is more of the latter, change it! Revamp it! make it look like a hub of creativity and love. If you want to put feather flags to make it look more exciting, do so!

Next, be mindful of your staff. How do they work with customers? How do you treat them? Are you doing something to up their morale? Take them to vacations once in a while and ask how they're doing. Be their friend rather than a dictatorial boss.

Lastly, how much are you doing, really, to promote not just your product but your brand? Find something you can differentiate yourself from others with and play it up as an advantage. Promote this advantage and connect it to your product and your brand and people will view your business with a totally different outlook. If you want to launch a new image, do so grandly! Have miniature flags, custom table banners and even new corporate logo flags to show it off!

The eating world is slowly moving towards a generation where everything is served bigger and bigger. Take a look at fast good meals and their servings. Upsize costs lower and lower, plus, there are bigger sizes of servings: giant burgers, bucket of fries, and unlimited gravy. And we can't deny that these kinds of food, albeit brimming with fat and the advertisement of cancer heavily recurring, they actually taste good. And sometimes, we seriously think we deserve a little bit of what's (seemingly) forbidden. See the danger flags just yet?

Here are some tips to control fast food bingeing:

1. Always consider how hungry you think you are. Sometimes, you're not really hungry, the display just looks really enticing. If such is so, order just the small serving and savor it.

2. Eat slowly but not as slow as losing taste. A lot of people eat very fast and get full longer that's why they tend to eat a lot more. They end up carb-filled and find it hard to stand and sometimes, dizzy.

3. Drink water before you eat. This applies to people who are initially planning to go on a diet, but can't really follow a strict food plan. So just fill your appetite with liquid instead of other carb-and-calorie-filled fast food serving.

4. Share a sinful serving with a friend. Sometimes, dessert just looks so tempting. So next time that you are craving for a slice of the uber chocolatey cake, order it with four other friends and share it! That's bonding and diet-watching still, and you didn't have to skip the cake!

Surely, there are a lot of ways to watch what we eat. So next time you think youre bingeing, you don't need to look away when you see the Pizza Hut flag or the Taco Bell flag. You know the ways around it!

When you child starts to pout and starts putting weight onto his steps, when he refuses to talk to you, when he shuts himself out and wears a frown all the time, he might be turning into....a monster. Just kidding. He might be turning into a brat! Danger flags waving already! There has never been a better time to redirect the disciplining route.

First, approach your child in a mild, gentle and loving way. No matter how angry he is, you will eventually break through the fortress by showing him that there is a nicer way to deal with things. Do not use force immediately. If you are just as mad as he is, be the more mature one and just deal with him lovingly.

Talk to him starting with retelling the story. Tell him that he is being difficult and this is upsetting you. Talk to him about bad behavior and don't rush into punishment. Explain, calmly, the importance of discipline. Tell him how it will help when he grows old. Kids like the idea that they can be entrusted like grown ups so this part is crucial.

Lastly, explain the beauty of recognizing a mistake and apologizing. Don't fret if the child takes time to say sorry. Even if it's as small as forgetting to say 'good morning' to the visitors or smearing your custom table banner with watercolor, your child may not be ready to accept he's mistaken so just give him time.

Finish off with an affectionate gesture, like a hug, a kiss and an 'I love you'.

Let's face it, sometimes it does happen in life when we are faced to make hard decisions prompting us to let go of a few things that mean so much to us. Living in a third-world country, the working class citizens are on the struggling mode to uplift their careers with the hope of improving their current lifestyle, if not, make ends meet to support the family and other dependents.

The most common career path is to leave the country and seek for greener pastures abroad. The thought of seeing a totally different world flag for a few years is definitely hard as it means leaving the warmth of home and family. Parents have to be emotionally strong to live far away from the children.

Working overseas for one's loved ones are not all sad stories. Thanks to the wonders of internet and telecommunication because they help ease the loneliness and bridge the gap between the family members. More and more mobile phone companies offer cheaper long distance call rates. Sending hard-earned money back home isn't as limited and as expensive as before. Most of the major carriers, on the other hand, take turns in offering promotions for cheap plane tickets, thus allowing many overseas contract workers to go home regularly for vacation and family visits.

We know that challenges and problems are a given when family members are away from each other. It is always a sound idea to always think of the ultimate purpose why you decided to work abroad in the first place, and that is to strive hard for the ones you love. For one day, you will no longer be apart and finally see welcome flags waving at you when you go home for good.

We always look forward to summer. It's that part of the year that brings a lot of memories counting back the days to childhood. Indeed, there's always something special about summer aside from the feather flags associated with the memorable vacations we used to have at the country.

For most people, summer holds special thoughts about many things. This may sound cheesy but everyone probably couldn't forget once upon a time they had their very own share of summer love. It is when we feel the magical attraction to that someone special we met during camp or to the boy or girl next door of grandma's home.

However, as all the other seasons, summers don't last too long and so is summer love. It remains and ends just there, only for the summer. Soon fall season banners will present themselves and we are left with no choice but to move on with our own lives. The call of school, career and family brings us to reality but the memories of a joyful summer will always linger in our hearts and in the pockets of our mind forever.

On the other side of things, the summer also teaches valuable lessons. Resourcefulness is one of them as it teaches individuals, mostly the youth, the value of work. Having a summer job is another phase of life where teenagers begin to appreciate hard work and responsibility. It inculcates in the young minds that if you want to have something, you need to work for it. Truly, nothing beats the feeling of getting something from your own sweat and labor. This is the reason why we cherish more those stuff we worked hard for than those we just got for free.

Oh, I can't wait for summer.

There are a lot of places where you can see nothing but egos banging on each other. There are just events where people go to be seen and to flaunt what they have and what more they can acquire. Here are some examples:

1. Car Racing - You see men in leather jackets, with hot women in tow, plus their oh-so-awesome cars. You see car flags everywhere with different brands and models, all advertising affluence. All the advertisers were there after a bidding and entrance itself costs high.

2. College Reunions - Here, there are stories which are relived and people who have changed all over the years. When college flags fill the place, you remember the college life once again, all the flattering and embarrassing anecdotes. And even if you can't change anything that happened, you can still change what they think of you now. That is why people are always asking how your batchmate's business is doing and who is the richest member of the batch.

3. Beauty Pageants - It's the women's turn now! Beauty pageants are cat fights just waiting to happen. Everyone is believed to aim to be more beautiful, smart or talented than the woman beside them and that makes beauty pageants such great ego parades.

4. Elections - Of course elections are all about egos! More fragile ones, in fact! Elections include investments in name and image and people would do everything to protect them. Street banners of candidates' names fill the city and they're just in every media outfit. It gets sickening actually.
So, which parade are you signing up with?

Every once in a while, we will crave for some time off our work and school, because they can get to us and have a really good job of stressing us. There were sleepless nights of not work, but the fact that you just can't shut down your brain due to its overworking during the day. We take vitamins to keep up with a killing lifestyle, and sometimes, we turn to the wrong things to 'de-stress' us such as alcohol, partying, etc. What we don't know is that these things might actually stress us even more.

Staying up late partying means that there will be alcohol overload in our bodies. When not handled properly, this will dehydrate our brains and affect the way we think and act. A. We might do things we will regret and add more stress in our lives or B. We might get a hangover the next day and end up getting sick anyway. What's so relaxing about that? Surely you don't need danger flags to remind you to hold the alcohol.

Partying means dressing up for a great night out, putting your makeup on, and dancing in high heels. First, sweat and make up may damage your skin especially if you don't wash them off properly. Next, the second hand smoke is always bad for you and, like sweat and makeup, it will also damage your skin. You'll turn out to be looking more stressed than ever. Lastly, heels all night seriously hurts and may even give you varicose veins.

Instead of doing those things, just go to a retreat or a vacation. A place where air is fresh and you don't have to impress people is just what you need for a fresh start in life. After a relaxing weekend, the racing flags can fly again for another round of work and stress.

One day, we were earning a lot. The next day, we realize that we have spent too much. We spent too much because we were confident that we receive a high salary that we only thought of the things that we can buy one-time and forget about the other things which we need from day to day. Because of this, we end up borrowing money and owing people more than how much we're willing to keep up with. See the financial danger flags already? Tsk tsk.

But if you see yourself in this rut, you can still crawl out of it. To do so, you can follow 4 easy tips.

1. Put Your Financial Standing into Writing. There is really nothing more definitive than writing your plans and the facts down. This way, you can confront the problem directly and when there are figures staring back at you, it's difficult to pretend you're still good financially.

2. Pay them off first. Do not make other debts to pay the old ones. It will just turn into a vicious cycle of zero income and outstanding credit balance. Your goal in everything that you receive must be to pay off your debts first. You don't need big fall banners to emphasize that.

3. Cut back a little. Yes, it may be difficult but you really need to cut back. Restate your priorities and follow them religiously. Differentiate what you want from what you need and work on it.

4. Be proud of frugality. You don't need to advertise it or starve yourself, but take pride in being frugal. It is a show of discipline and control. Those things feels good to have than debts, don't they?
