With Spring and Summer fast approaching it's a great time for charities to put on golf events to help raise money to support their particular cause. Custom Golf Flags placed on the pole at each hole are a great for these charities to thank sponsers for supporting them or another avenue to raise funds .

There are, I believe, 3 key success points of any charity golf tournament:

1) Getting as many people as possible to turn out for the event -Drawing a lot of folks for your event is key. In fact it is the #1 goal. If done correctly , it not only allows for maximum contributions, it may also allow for an even larger event the next year. I guess the next question is: "How do I get the most people at my event.?" Naturally, sponsers will invite or will be directly involved in the tournament to maximize turnout, so having a good relationship with them is imperative . Getting the local media involved is a tool you must use. The media can reach a far larger audience with one ad in the paper or a mention of your tournament on the TV, than you could accomplish by talking on the phone all day long. Take advantage of this avenue by using press releases.

2) Increasing pledge dollar amounts from your sponsers -Set a minimum pledge amount for each player. A great place to start is $100. Some events can go as high as $500 per player, depending on the reputation of the tournament or where it's being held. Remember, always ask the people at the course you are playing at thier opinion, they can be an invaluable resource of information.

3) Obtaining the best sponsored prizes - We've already determined drawing more golfers to your event is key. Having great prizes is a great way to do that. Have prizes for longest drive, closest to the hole, hole in one, lowest team score, lowest actual score, and best adjusted score. Getting local local merchants to sponsor those prizes is a great help. This will always allow you to offer prizes at no cost or at the most minimal investment possible.

Getting a 100 golfers (25 foursomes) and your small group can raise $10,000 or more. Larger turnouts will net even more. Some charity golf tournaments draw 500 golfers competing for big prizes.

Good luck and remember, have fun, it's for charity!

Once, I played this online game called Pangya, like any other online games that appeal to the young people like me, it is fun. Fun in the sense that it is like you are play golf complete with all golf staples like caddies, golf flags, sand traps and the like. But in this game the moves are supernatural, you can go ahead and curve the ball at immense proportions and the terrains are cool. You can play on a floating island, Hogwarts, and sunny beaches only found in the Bahamas . In this game you are like having a vacation while playing golf. The game I should say is cute, because of the way the character is detailed, sometimes they have big heads, and they have cute sparkling eyes that could make any girls heart melt, plus, they have various kinds of pets you can buy at their cyber store. The pets carry the golf flag for you, they are your personal cute caddy and to add spice to it, the game is seems realistic, you have to time your swings and the power you need to give to it.

Pangya is a multiplayer online game that concerns golf, if you would just want to be, you can be Tiger Woods in this game, or better yet the God of golf. The aim of this online sport is the same as the real sport itself. In this game, you have to master the terrain, the wind, the exact power to apply and most especially, you shouldn’t take off your eyes from the golf flag your pet carries because every time you get a good shot you receive bonuses from your pets which in the long run would really help. Since it is a multiplayer online game, all you have to do is just beat the other guy playing with you. Well, you can trash talk or even flirt with the other player, it’s up to you how you play the game as long as you level up and win some games and if you do, you get fancy items courtesy of the server. The game is really entertaining and sometimes it’s a way to find friends.
