The American flag must not be incorporated in making other items like bedding's, clothes and drapes. Buntings in red, blue and white may be used for decorative purposes. The blue should be at the top, the red should be at the bottom and the white in the middle.
The flag should not be used as a uniform or any part of it. People and officials should use a lapel pin or flag patch instead to inform citizens about their roles.
Statues, structures and monuments must not be covered by a flag.
Ceilings should not be covered by a flag.
When using a single staff, do not put the national flag together with advertising materials.
The flag should also never be used to make napkins, tissues and boxes. It should not be placed on collars, handkerchiefs, pillowcases and cushions. It should not be raised in a flat manner. It should always stay high and waving in the wind. The flag should not get in touch with the ground and must always be in top quality. The surface should be free of dirt, marks and drawings.
Before June 14, 1923 or Flag Day, there were no laws and rules about the proper presentation of the United States Flag. Now, the National Flag Code is used to show people how to properly use and take care of the banner. The National Flag Conference consisted of several national agencies and people from the Navy and Army. The U.S. Flag today is treated with more respect and pride because of these regulations.

There are several reasons to put indicators in your property. You can use different materials such as pin flags or spray paint. Pin flags are described as tiny custom flags that you can plant on the lawn. There are several places that you might like to mark such as a dog containment setup, a storage area for garden materials, a plant nursery and an extra driveway.
One of the initial things to prepare includes finding a professional who can indicate which areas have to be marked. Some plans will require you to dig and look for pipelines and other obstructions. You have to check with the local rules and policies if you need to get a permit first before digging. You also have to contact a certified technician who has the experience and know how to locate underground utilities. This way, you can dig easily. You can then continue with the approach and don’t have to worry about hitting anything else in the ground. The services of the technician are usually paid for in a package.
As soon as you prepare and find the utilities beneath the ground, you can start marking the entire place. You should also decide where you like to put the custom flags and apply spray paint. Some types of terrain are more challenging. You can put spray paint on stones and concrete. Soft ground will require custom flags instead and will generally last long.
Sometimes, you can still apply paint on the ground. The basic luminescent type is ideal to easily point out structures and items underneath.

If you’re thinking of the best gift to give your best friend or sibling, you might have a thousand things in mind. Personalized gifts are one of the most appreciated because it means that you spent a lot of time and effort instead of just shelling out cash. Some people do not fully appreciate even expensive gifts since these can be quite common.
When you give personalized items, it means that you care about the person and took the time to have it done in the manner that he will like. The idea is to give a present that stands out from others. These special gifts are not readily available on the internet or in different shopping malls.
When you decide to get a personalized item for your special someone, think of handing him a personalized golf flag. It is a great idea even for people who are still new to the sport. They can easily add it to their collection or feature the colorful banner in their living room or office. Both men and women appreciate these items well.
When preparing the personalized golf flags, indicate the name of the person or have his image printed on the material. These can also feature a variety of colors which will serve as attractive decors in different nooks and spots in the house. Whenever the receiver sees the flag, he will immediately think of your thoughtful gift.
Those who have the cash can buy personalized golf flags. These are described as banners personally signed by golf celebrities like Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus.

Flag is a thing that is made of simple cloth with specific designs that represent a certain country or group, usually seen placed on a pole. The most widely known example of it is a world flag. Each and every flag is different. Each country has its flag designed uniquely to be represented well and be identified compared to other countries all over the world.  The flag is designed distinctively as it is inspired by significant symbolism that usually define a certain country.  Basically, all countries have flags that serve as an icon or an exceptional image that represent them. There is no country that has none. Collection of these is paraded on special world-wide occasions to show a specific nation.
You might be curious how flags originated. As a matter of fact, these have come into existence centuries ago. Although it is not very much clear yet where it originated, some researchers stated that it is first seen in somewhere in China. Others say that was first seen in ancient Rome. No one can really identify where it all began but one thing is for sure, flags commonly known nowadays started in near 1900s.  Flags have been very useful for many purposes such as signals during military or navy activities or simply to symbolize a group. Not all people know exactly how an American flag must be folded, not unless you serve the country as a military personnel or as a Boy Scout. A flag is representation of a country that must be respected. Knowing the right way to fold it is important to ensure its proper safekeeping. Take note that American flag must not reach the ground and it takes two people to properly fold it.
Below are the steps:
1.     Two people must face each other to hold of the corners at the flag’s short end.  It must be at the same level of the waist.
2.     Fold the flag in lengthwise half.  The side that is striped must be over  the side with the blue field.
3.     Fold the flag once again in half lengthwise. The blue field side must be on top this time. Remember to keep the flag stretched and firm.
4.     From the end of the striped side, fold the flag from right to left by turning its corner edge to be in line with the edge of the open flag. The fold will look like a triangle.
5.     The triangle fold must be repeated until th
e blue field is entirely covered.
6.     The last square must be folded down to cover the triangle.
7.     Insert the last end inside the fold to make it tightly folded.
The American flag must be folded correctly for many reasons and events as clearly mentioned in the US Flag Code, such as taking a flag down from a flagpole to end a day for safe keeping.

One of the most popular pirate flags that graced the high seas is Blackbeard’s flag. The banner features a black canton with a skeleton in the middle holding a spear going through a human heart. The other hand of the skeleton raised a glass to the devil. Captain Blackbeard immediately scared other vessels just by raising the flag wherever his ship went.
Another pirate, Christopher Moody, was also highly notorious during the 18th century. His ship moved along the South Carolina Coast. He was later on caught and hung. Moody’s flag, however, became very much recognised. It featured gold against a red canton. There is also a gold hourglass with dark wings. This signified that the time of his enemy was over. There is a white hand with a dagger and the famous skull with crossbones. The red canton represented blood which meant death to whoever opposes them.
Another pirate from France, Emanuel Wynn, is also famous for being the first one to show the Jolly Roger banner. There is no actual evidence to support this but his banner features the hourglass under the skull with crossbones.
Bartholomew Roberts is a pirate who featured the Black Bart Flag. It shows a pirate standing on skulls. The acronyms “AMH” and “ABH” appeared on the banner which stands for “A Martinique’s Head” and “A Barbadian’s Head”.
Pirates are as real as they are in the stories. Today, pirate flags are still waved in various sporting events and parties. There are people wearing pirate costumes complete with the banners.

Many thought that pirate flags are just fictional items derived from story books, but the fact is, it existed. These were real items that represented the pirate captain of a ship and its crew.  It was uniquely customized to identify their ship from others.
If you are a fan of pirate tales then you must be familiar with the pirate flag of Jolly Roger, however, only a few knows that there are several designs of this. Pirate flags may come in different themes because of the significance it gives for every ship’s journey during the time of exploration. For the captain and its crew, it is very important to identify whether such approaching ships can be their ally or enemy thru the message that the flag gives.
Pirates made to customize their own flags following certain codes of conduct for certain purposes such as to instill terror. Most often pirate flags were seen in either black or red background, but the more popular is black. However, either color gives equally relevant representations.

Red pirate flags signified fear as a representation of bloodshed as if no mercy can be given to captured victims. Then came an evolution from red to a black colored pirate flag to symbolize death. This became a more popular and threatening color to other ships nearby. As time passed, pirate flags changed further by adding symbols such as the combination of crossed bones and a skull, an hour glass or swords, all of which represents death.

When letting other people know about an upcoming festival or activity, use feather flags to grab attention quickly. These may be set up outside or inside. The flags will also require minor repairs and adjustments at times depending on the location. The components are generally composed of lightweight materials placed together in a framework. The flags are also very attractive when these are flying in the wind. The idea for many marketers is to print the design on both sides. This way, people always see what’s printed on the material regardless of where they’re standing. Other names for flags include swoopers or swooper flags.

When featuring the American flag, people are advised to be more sensitive about the existing rules and regulations. There are actually established codes with corresponding punishments to violators. The stars and stripes must be worn proudly and the guidelines followed accordingly.
A lot of people are not aware that it is disrespectful to wear the American flag as a piece of clothing. The rules will change depending on the state as well as the penalties for each. It is best to understand the intentions of the individuals and give them tips on how to showcase their pride and reverence for others to follow.
When you watch television or actual Olympic Games, you will notice how the winners or contestants usually drape the American flag over their shoulders before they begin or upon standing on the pedestal. Although this is usually done as a gesture of respect towards the mother country, many may also misunderstand it as a sign of disrespect. People should read the laws surrounding the right manner of handling and keeping the flag. Even athletes should show the best practices for their fans.
The question continues as to whether there are exceptions to certain acts if the person intended to display his patriotism. Some may understand but overall, making clothes out of the American flag is truly unacceptable. It is better to be familiar with the rules then adjust your ways. You can serve as an example for others especially those who like to display flags on Independence Day.
