One day, we were earning a lot. The next day, we realize that we have spent too much. We spent too much because we were confident that we receive a high salary that we only thought of the things that we can buy one-time and forget about the other things which we need from day to day. Because of this, we end up borrowing money and owing people more than how much we're willing to keep up with. See the financial danger flags already? Tsk tsk.

But if you see yourself in this rut, you can still crawl out of it. To do so, you can follow 4 easy tips.

1. Put Your Financial Standing into Writing. There is really nothing more definitive than writing your plans and the facts down. This way, you can confront the problem directly and when there are figures staring back at you, it's difficult to pretend you're still good financially.

2. Pay them off first. Do not make other debts to pay the old ones. It will just turn into a vicious cycle of zero income and outstanding credit balance. Your goal in everything that you receive must be to pay off your debts first. You don't need big fall banners to emphasize that.

3. Cut back a little. Yes, it may be difficult but you really need to cut back. Restate your priorities and follow them religiously. Differentiate what you want from what you need and work on it.

4. Be proud of frugality. You don't need to advertise it or starve yourself, but take pride in being frugal. It is a show of discipline and control. Those things feels good to have than debts, don't they?
