Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

Tuesday, June 17, 2008
It used to be that vehicles of foreign diplomats and ambassadors sport car flags, the reason of course is to differentiate them from local car owners or maybe be given some preferential treatment. And normally, each car is provided with a custom flag a smaller version of their country's flag. This is very notable when you are approaching the United Nations Headquarters in New York, particularly during sessions as each delegate maneuver through traffic to reach his destination on time.

When foreign Heads of State comes in for a visit, car flags are also prevalent since all cars that join the entourage are provided with one. So when moving in traffic the entourage becomes really a sight as the head car and security escorts collectively snakes through as if in a sea of car flags. Likewise expatriates that line the streets wave similar banners to welcome their President or probably their Prime Minister.

In a way this incident may have started our penchant for car flags , because we not only use these symbols during Independence Day celebrations also but throughout the year. Aside from the American car flags, we use other specimens such as replicas of school flags, favorite teams in the NBA, the NFL and almost any other sports oriented organizations. And when the season for such sports activities are over, we use our company's flag and some resort to blank flags of varying colors, just to satisfy our need for a car ornament.

What about you, what car flag are you using? Or if you still do not have one, buy and join the bandwagon.
