Making a custom flag requires a step by step process. All aspects regarding the process must be well- planned in order to achieve not just an average quality custom flag but an excellent one.

The first step is to choose the right fabric for the flag. It should be a plain blank cloth so that you can incorporate any design with it. The usual flag size is about 3’x5’ and the more common material used is nylon because of its durability. The cost is estimated to be around $20 so you should have a budget close to that.

When you have the flag cloth ready, the next thing that you should think about is your design. With a variety of design templates you can utilize with your computer, it is easy to make your own flag design. Mix and match different colours and see what comes out to be the best. Edit your output until it is good enough to meet your standards and preference.

When design is already done, by this time, you should know what materials you will need to make the flag more attractive. Buy everything you need and choose the ones with the highest quality, if possible.

After this, make a pattern for your design. For example, if you have text that should be printed onto your flag, prepare letter cut-outs so it will be easy to cut the fabric and other materials to fit into the design. Pin the cut-out designs or letters on the flag to keep them in place.

Once done, press the letters on the fabric with the use of an iron and that’s it! You now have a custom flag with your own design printed on it! It is very easy if you have the right design software to help you out. If you want to be more creative, you can just draw it on a piece of paper and follow it as a pattern.
