National pride and respect can be best represented by the
United States flag. It stands for several great
virtues and principles and marks the achievements that the forefathers and brave soldiers worked so hard
for. The flags come with an array of elements that represent special traits of the nation. These are always
indicative of the special existence of the state.

United States Flag Description
The USA national flag features special symbols and traits that properly describe the past and present
events that formed the country. The flag has 13 horizontal stripes with alternating red and white stripes.
These stand for the first colonies that comprise the nation. The 13 colonies fought against the British rule
to free American, later on making it fully independent.
The blue canton on the upper left portion of the US flag features 50 white stars. The stars have five points
and are organized in nine rows of six stars that alternate with five stars.
There are 50 stars in all on the
US flag, each representing a state to total all 50 states of America. These are
the very states fought for by American ancestors.
