Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

Wednesday, March 13, 2013

Many individuals usually wonder how and where feather flags started. Some even think that these are really made of feathers. The truth is, the flags will look much like a giant feather when placed on the ground. The pole will serve as the shaft of the feather while the vane will be the flag itself. The flag design has also been modified through the years to serve different purposes and activities.

The traditional flags come in a rectangle shape with the background placed on the upper left part of the flag. The hoist is positioned in the left portion and linked to the pole. The sides tend to flare up and flutter easily so you will notice how the flag immediately moves as soon as a small breeze blows into it. This makes it unrealistic to place words and messages on the material.

Compared to traditional banners, feather flags feature a big area for the hoist. The hoist is linked to the flag pole in a vertical manner. You will then be able to put some text for target customers to read. Basic flags will not last as long as feather flags because the latter are meant to stay out in the sun or against harsh weather conditions for many weeks.

Compared to other advertising tools, feather flags are also more flexible which is why a lot of people prefer it for advertising purposes. The strong winds cannot disturb the flag much and you will like how the flag continues to hold its ground regardless of the outdoor conditions making it ideal for occasions.
