When picking custom tents for yourself or a big group, you should learn more about the aspects and features.
Tents that are marketed as good for one person may not be huge enough for you. There are other tents advertised as good for two or three persons but are actually smaller, giving you a tough time when camping.
The size of a tent will matter a lot when it comes to camping. Remember that you may have to spend several hours or days inside a tent especially during long trips. You should ensure that the size and material is comfortable and durable enough to last the whole time.
Every person will need about 3 x 7 feet of room. This amount of space will let you stretch. You may also need more room to store your equipment and get dressed. Sometimes, the weather may turn sour so you need to stay inside the tent for hours. You have to pick the best time of year to camp or you have to deal with snow, rain and heavy winds all the time. The right model featuring the right materials and accessories will keep you comfortable and safe the whole time.
Many tents are not waterproof and may rip easily. You will come across rip-stop nylon material that is breathable so that water and moisture can evaporate quickly. You might need a rainfly too, which will guard you from rain and moisture. A rainfly is waterproof and will cover the roof of your tent so rainwater is flushed away from. The material should be wide enough to cover the walls, doors and windows of the tent. The sealant must also be used to prolong the tent’s lifespan.

A lot of custom tents include fine mesh screen on the windows.
