Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

The kid in us was always told by her older sister that the more we spend time obsessing over physical beauty, the more we will stress ourselves out and end up losing confidence rather than supposedly gaining it from looking good. Well, nobody's blaming anyone, being beautiful has a lot of rewards. From freebies to admiring looks, from special treatment to actually ending up with a royal, beauty has acquired a high place in society.

This is the reason why everyone wants beauty as a title. More than ninety five percent of girls all over the world had once dreamed of becoming a beauty titlist. Who doesn't want their banners and state flags scattered all over the country with their fully made up faces? Who doesn't want all the cheers, the product endorsements, the title of being a "queen"? The truth is, behind all the glitz and glamor, beauty pageants destroy the idea of beauty itself.

Since they use all too much the word beauty, the word itself gains on a meaning that is full of standards and limits. Beauty pageants start with the screening process, where "beauty" is composed of a complete set of teeth, good skin, a weight that doesn't go past 140 lbs., long legs, nice hair, etc. In fact, they're not that strict in checking about eating disorders! At this stage beauty is being defined already. In the end, no matter how much the beauty queens defend pageants by saying they have the question and answer portion anyway, the time spent in filtering the non-beautiful from the beautiful just speaks of society's shallow understanding about beauty.
