Hunting for treasure isn't as easy as it looks. This is especially true if you are searching for treasure in the sea. This is because you will have a very difficult time trying to pinpoint exactly where the treasure is. You will need to find leads, you will need to execute numerous exploratory dives, and you will need to mark territories so that you can get back and take the treasure from the site.

The most important thing to remember is that you will be using a boat for these hunts. This means that you will be need the proper nautical flags so that you can freely sail the seas without worrying about legal issues. You can also alert naval authorities about your presence in the area. All of these serve two purposes: you can keep authorities posted of your location so that they can come in and rescue you if needed, and you can also alert other vessels of your position in the open seas.

While you have your ship covered, you might have to consider how you will need to mark areas that you think can harbor treasure. However, since you are operating in open waters, you can't just plant a pole all the way down. You will need to anchor a buoy with a blank flag so that you can accurately pinpoint the location. You can also integrate a GPS locator on the buoy so that you can track the locations on a virtual map. This should make it easy for you to prioritize which sites to visit and which sites to explore.
