Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

Sunday, February 27, 2011
Custom flags are used in battles and wars. It represents each group of people. If one of the group’s flags is captured, it may mean winning over that group which the flag represents. Sometimes it can be assumed that the group represented by the flag already surrendered. This is the reason why world flags are defended until death because it represents the corps pride.

At sea, custom flags serve a different purpose. It acts as a communication tool between boats and sea vessels especially if there are no electronic communication or signal. Custom flags are used as “Morse Code”. This is to send a message across other passing ships. This is very effective and important especially if there is a storm or if the ship is sinking and there is no other means to ask for help. Raising a flag may signal others that the ship is in wreck and needs rescue. Even in ports, you can see pennants decorated on ships. Each of them has a significant meaning.

Later, flags evolved onto becoming a national symbol representing a country, a larger group of people in each nation. Most have different colors printed on the national flag. Take for example the African flag. It has the colors green, black, red, and yellow. These colors are not just made to make the flag attractive, but they mean something for Africans.

Even schools also carry their own custom flags. These are usually used to represent a school’ team, such as during an inter-school competition. The school flags usually contain the school’s colors. Custom flags indeed serve many different purposes, and represents many different groups, teams, and organizations. That is why their existence is so important before and until now!
