Shopping for new flagpoles can be tough especially if you do not have any idea what to look for in a good, sturdy pole. There are many things to consider such as the height or length of the pole, convenience with regards to storage and use, price, location where it will stand, as well as the material it is made of. There are two common varieties: the ground flagpoles such as those made from fiberglass and wall mount poles.

The ground type flagpoles are usually 15 feet to as high as 100 feet. You can install it in soil ground or at a moveable cemented ground. It can be used in commercial establishments or residential homes. Ground poles are usually available in sectional and telescoping poles which are portable and easy to maintain. You can transport it anywhere without any problems and it weighs very lightly.

The wall mounted poles are obviously installed on the wall and not on the ground. They are easy to store and keep and are usually recommended for establishments with very little space for a flagpole to stand on the ground.

Aluminum is usually the source material for residential flagpoles as they are rust-free and weather resistant as well. Therefore, they can be left 24 hours a day out in the open to fly your favorite flags without too much worrying. They are easy to handle and maintain and very convenient to use as well. What is great about flags and flagpoles is that they are customizable according to your needs and they are reasonable in price as well.
