Are you asked to organize a team building event? Why not consider throwing a flag party to build that camaraderie and team work. It would feel good standing under your own
custom flag. So how will it be done?
First, you need to have the group organized into teams. Affix a short activity of getting known or an ice breaker in order for the team members to get to know each other. Then let each team create their custom flag. They are free to have their own design that will portray an specific value or a work ethic that they would like to characterize. An additional theme like choosing an animal or assigning their color can also be done. Just make sure that custom flags are with the same size. The facilitators will judge and choose the best flag among the groups and winners will be given points.
When the flags are done, do a flag racing contest. This can be possible by a straightforward race to get the flag in a pole or it can be a relay. The first team to get the flag will earn points. Some additional activities can be a cheer with their own
custom flags.
