Sunday, October 23, 2011
Custom flags, for over the years and counting, have been used by many businesses for their establishments. The flags they put and flew have to stand with the test of time for endurance and beauty. They must be unique and original for a distinctive look so craftsmanship and pride can be felt in every flag.

In the case of  world flags, the the etiquette and rules for taking good care and flying of the American flag have been made on the federal category. For instance, if the American flag is being displayed on top, it must have a light on it which in case the sun goes down, the flag is being lowered down from its pole. And if you have flag displayed in your house, or in your office or in events, you are allowed to keep it still everyday and every night if light source is available for the times of darkness. Here are some significant etiquettes for you to remember:

Have you ever had an idea that the U.S. flag must not be swayed to anyone, or anything, being dipped, and must be allowed to fly in an upside down when emergency notification is needed?

Have you known that the it must also be kept cleaned at all times and be mended when needed, and when it cannot be returned to its original beauty then it must be folded and burned ceremoniously? And have you ever learned that any other world flag must never ever reach the ground, and that it must be handed over to another person carefully without touching anything or anyone else?

You must also know that the American flag must never have alterations with writing or alterations in any way?
The 13 red and white stripes that appear on the American flag portray the original 13 colonies. In 1777, the design was adopted formally by the Congress of the Continental as the official American Flag, thus representing the country across the globe.
