Friday, October 4, 2013
The very popular use of flag is to merely represent a person, thing, belief or territory. However, some people use flags for a deeper value and purpose which is to invite good vibes, feeling, luck or blessings. A flag being used for this purpose is called a faith flag.  A person who does this usually promotes or simply practices a certain belief or religion.
If county flags have certain guidelines to be followed on how to use and display a flag, the more it is vital for flags used for religious purposes. Faith flags can be considered as sacred materials that need to be highly respected as much as a religion must be respected. Unlike some flags that are seen on the floor, used as table top, door mat, or towels, it is very disrespectful to use faith flags in these ways. Faith flags must be put up traditionally with a sturdy pole. It can be placed outdoor or indoor however it must be secured from harmful substances or environment. In case a flag is damaged, it must be disposed respectively and not just torn into pieces.
Faith flags can come in different designs depending on the religion and place it represents. Faith flags are most effective reminder of what it represents if the design is incorporated by the history of symbolisms of faith. Colours are very important factors too for certain colours give meanings.
Basically, faith flags are displayed in religious places such as monasteries and churches and in private homes to constantly remind people of their faith and keep them close to their roots.
