Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

Tuesday, December 2, 2014
There are comparable similarities between the flag of the Republic of China and the flag of the People’s Republic of China. The close resemblance at times would usually cause people to believe that both are the same flag. The People’s Republic of China banner stands for the Chinese flag, the Republic of China flag belongs to Taiwan. The two banners actually show the same colors and the design found on the top left portion is what causes the misunderstanding.
The Chinese flag features five gold stars against the red canton. One star is big while the four others are smaller. The design made the flag another name – “Five Star Red Flag”. There are differences between the colors and stars on the flag. Some people will believe that the red background stands for revolution or communism. Other people will also give other meanings to the two flags depending on their family and cultural background.
The stars on the flag also have various meanings according to different people. The large star stands for the leadership of the Communist Party of China. As for the four smaller stars, these refer to the unity of the Chinese people under a strong and good leadership. Other people think that the four stars stand for the four social classes – workers, bourgeoisie, peasants and capitalists. The big star stands for the leaders of government that aim to make China the global powerhouse that it is today.
The Chinese flag is said to belong to the people because they designed it.
