Custom tents include nettings and accessories that will effectively protect you from the surroundings. There are basic nettings made of nylon. Dacron material will have a finer mesh that will adequately keep bugs out of the tent. Tents usually have a zipper entrance and a flap that will give you privacy as well as shield you from the rain and wind.
The fabric used to make tents are usually porous so these may not be adequate to keep you warm and comfortable. There are also materials that will keep bugs and insects out and keep people safe from the wind or snow. You can be shaded from the hot sun and heavy winds by certain materials. Nylon is ideal and quite easy to keep. You may also require sealant every now and then.
Do not put your tent in storage while it is still moist or wet. Spread it when you reach home and allow the entire structure to dry before you roll and store. Remove any dirt, mud or dust that might have accumulated on the surface. You might like to try special cleaning agents but baking soda or mild liquid detergent will usually get the job done. Make the needed fixes immediately to prolong the tent’s lifespan. You will also find some tent repair kits to fix holes and other small problems.

A dome tent will feature a hexagonal structure. Nylon is generally used and the whole structure will only weigh a few pounds. A custom tent will not need lines or stakes to stand.
