Everyone in the world uses raw materials to get their lives on track. In fact, the most common raw material that they use everyday is wood. They use wood to build things, to cook things, and even to transport things. This means that there has to be people who are capable of getting the wood from the logging area to the people who use the wood. And the first thing that they have to do is to cut down trees that are big enough to be cut down and used. They do this by setting up a perimeter of danger flags around the area that they want to log. This is because they want new trees to grow in different areas so that they don't run out of trees to log.

While the logging operation goes on, different companies could get a little too close on each other’'s operations. This means that they could cross-log and it could very easily leave nothing for the next logging season. This is why the companies set up their corporate flags around the area. They want to let the other logging outfits to know which territory is being logged by what company. After all, they don't want to lose profits to other companies.

Since we use wood all the time, we have to know when to harvest wood and when to let forests grow. The thing is, the logging cycle is a little difficult to understand. It requires a lot of discipline and a lot of patience to get to where we want.
