Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

Friday, July 22, 2011
Any custom flag maker can easily say that he is talented and that he can give you the right design. There are even some who come in their artistic business cards and oh-so-professional outfits. However, what does it really take to recognize a custom flag maker who will not let you down in terms of project quality?

First off, you have to tell if a flag maker is reliable through the first impression. Were your initial conversations clear? Was he polite? Did he come on time? What can you say about his thought process? Is he fast enough to get what you really want? Does he give valuable input? Or does he wait for you to think of everything that goes into the flag and just executes your idea?

The first impression can really reveal a lot about the artist that you pick to make your customized flags. At the onset, he must be the correct mix of professionalism and artistry. There are some designers who use art and the creative process as an excuse to dodge deadlines and to not follow your specific instructions when you give your concepts to them. There are also others who are not that clear about the financial side of the project until it’s too late and you’d just receive a statement of accounts that absolutely floors you in shock.

So keep your senses open the first time that you meet your artist. If you are only communicating through email or through the phone, try to get as many credibility proofs as you can; just enough for you to make a legitimate impression on your custom flag maker.
