Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

Thursday, August 18, 2011
During parades and diplomatic visits, we commonly see custom mini flags being waved or held by people to greet or just to participate any event. But after the event, flags can be seen being littered in the streets. It has been known that some people meet to discusses the proper etiquette about the usage of flags, but we must also know the real rule on the usage of the custom mini flags.

Proper flag etiquette includes proper display of flags including the draping and hoisting, its proper storage and the disposal. People must also know when and how to pay respect to the flag. Some flag etiquettes vary in certain countries especially the inclusion of a flag design on clothing. We can mostly see flags being used during football games. But the question is, up to what extent does sporting a custom mini flag replica becomes tolerable? Until now, the answer to this is still blurry.

Flag codes have set a lot of rules for the proper use of flags. This include the prohibitive use of flags for advertising. It can also be read that flags should not be seen being printed, impressed or embroidered on handkerchiefs, boxes, napkins, cushions or any thing that would be disposed after a short term use. And a mini flag being used for waving at a certain parade can be under the 'short-term use category' but with exception, some do not really go through with the proper usage.

And now, as the flag desecration stays on as a delicate issue, it is not yet considered to be a violation in any rule. Nonetheless, it is encourage to handle custom flags and mini flags with respect and proper decorum.
