Afghanistan: This world flag has a special style with three colors in the background: red, green and black. Mehrab and Pulpit appear in white which signify the national emblem. A flag is placed beside each symbol. You will find a text at the top about the people’s belief that the only God is Allah and that he is all great.

England: Also called the St. George, the flag has a red cross and a white background. The flag was first featured during the crusades. The flag was thought to be brought into the country before the start of the second crusade.

Finland: The flag features the Scandinavian cross or a white background with a blue cross in front. The blue color signifies the lakes of the area, while the white signifies its snow, which is also prevalent in the country.

France: You will notice three colors on the flag: white, red and blue, which were the same colors used to storm the Bastille. Royal white is also present. The flag became official in 1794.

Germany: The flag features the colors gold, black and red, which came from the Weimar Republic. Each color takes up one-third of the flag. The flag was adopted from the Weimar Republic as well. It represents a lot about the country after World War II and became official on May 9, 1949.

China: You will notice the flag's stunning red background with a big yellow star on the top right corner with four smaller ones beside it. Red stands for revolution and speaks much about the country's communist state.

Japan: The flag is very easy to recognize with its white background and big red circle in the front and middle. The red round figure symbolizes the sun. The world flag was first used during the 1600s when the Shogun Tokugawa made it official and presented it on Japanese ships.
