Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

Wednesday, October 10, 2012

I’ve always admired the world flag of South Africa. The design you see now is raised on new age flag poles made of different materials. The practice has been done for more than 15 years. The old flag was present for almost seven decades before adjustments were made. The use of flags together with other types of presentations like wall treatments continues to develop over time. Huge flags are placed on top of very high flag poles today by different nations around the world.

Frederick Brownell can be credited for designing the new world flag of South Africa. The official national colors include blue, white and orange which is quite distinct from the old tricolor banner.

The Cape of Good Hope was represented by a woman right next to an anchor in the old national banner. Other elements that you can find on the banner include the orange tree representing the Orange Free State, wild animals that represent Natal, a lion with several rods which represent the motto of the nation and the Transvaal by the wagon. The official motto of South Africa is “Strength in Unity”. The Dutch were actually the ones who showed the various colors to be used in the old flag long ago.

The present flag can be shown on top of different items. Wall treatments are also used sometimes to include the elements of the national flag in various ways. The South African flag as presented in current times showcase the colors blue, white, red, yellow, green and black. It is known as both a state and civil banner.
