Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

Tuesday, January 1, 2013

If you’re decided to start a shop that manufactures custom flags and banners, you have to carefully consider all the features and materials to be used. An area intended for sewing is highly important because this is where most of the action will take place. Having one will easily arrange all your tools and materials and make these easier to store and locate. Some flag manufacturers do not have a big enough space to allocate a separate sewing area.

An idle space such as a closet is highly recommended for putting your supplies and fabrics in.

Look for one  cardboard barrel and store the yardsticks, drapery and dowel tools in these. You can also keep the mat board upright beside the barrel.

A double drawer cabinet is ideal for putting your banner patterns in. Place the banner patterns inside zip kind of baggies. Many manufacturers put an image on the outer part of the baggy to easily find patterns.

You should also look for a couple of storage bins for putting small and medium sized tools and objects in. The small tray can store pins, needles, tape measures and miniature tools and things. The medium-size one can be used for keeping paper scissors, quick bias, rotary cutters and other things. You can also choose between a carpenter toolbox or one fisherman tackle box for keeping the small items and tools in. Put a few nails at the back wall to hang rulers, templates and others.

Prepare one short stool so you can look at the custom flags and banners fully before giving it to your customers.
