Pennant streamers generally cost less compared to conventional signs and other advertising materials. You should still exercise a few safety methods that will increase its lifespan to save more money. Pennants can be prone to various types of damage if these are put out under the sun or rain too long. Always practice safety and care to preserve it for many months or years.

Pennants are usually made of 4 mm polyethylene and naturally last long regardless of the external circumstances. Many places, however, are undergoing drastic weather changes which are why the pennants have to be protected for the benefit of your advertising campaign. You have to take it down regularly before the heavy rain or extreme sunlight comes to increase its lifespan.

Keep the pennants safe from the harsh rays of the sun. Ultraviolet or UV rays can cause fading and the colors to deteriorate. When putting the pennant under the sun or in sunny places, you might wish to protect the material sometimes by taking it down when the sun gets too hot. Practice caution when using materials with high UV index.

Some individuals forget or choose not to take these down so UV rays will immediately cause fading, spurring the business owner to buy new material after a short while. Take the banners down after the event or if the weather gets worse.

Rain or water will cause the same type of damage just like UV rays. Heavy rain and storms will fade the fabric or tear the material. Always bring down the pennants streamers before the storm comes.
