Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

Tuesday, April 22, 2014
The emergence of custom flags over the years has seen a steady incline among personal and commercial users. In downtown or suburban areas, these fabric materials in the form of banners, streamers, and flags have populated sidewalks, vacant lots, and practically even walls broad enough to mount them. The use of custom flags have been attributed to the increase of awareness by the people of its utility, and cost effectiveness. Corporations and industries have made a great capitalization out of using these to promote their business and improve marketability.

While custom flags may be the main driving medium for information and advertising, it would not be much worth of an effective tool without the accessories that come along with setting these flags up. One of the most important flag accessories is the flag pole.

Flag poles are the backbone of any properly hoisted flag. Serving as the main “hand” that holds the flag higher than the res t around it, it allows the flag to function well of its creation – to be noticed, seen, and be acknowledged of the information or content it carries. Custom flags are benefitted with any sturdy flag pole by making them stand out from the crowd, so to say.

The most common materials used as flag poles are either steel or aluminum, which is able to raise flags from a couple of meters to several meters high. Thanks to its sheer toughness, it is possible to hoist it way above so that people from afar may already see it. However, weathering and moisture are the most common concerns with using metallic based poles, not to mention the costly nature of its construction.

Plastic and fiberglass poles are also available for smaller scale, as well as lighter setups. Not only are they cheap and less burdensome to move around or set up, they are also relatively cheaper to acquire at the expense of the height custom flags may be hoisted at maximum.
