When you view the national flag of the United States of America, you should be reminded of unity, independence and strength. There are many names that the flag is known for such as “Old Glory” or “The StarSpangled Banner”. For many people in the United States, the national flag has become a source of strength for over two hundred years,especially during times of trial.
Currently, there are 13 horizontal stripes on the flag.
