In every outdoor event such as dirt car racing and beach volleyball, we find banners and flags that sway every time wind passes by. Most of us think that those serve as markings on a dirt car track or wind indicators on a beach volleyball game. But then again our assumptions are far from the truth, because the true significance of these flutter flags as they call it, remains known only to the organizers.
Actually,
flutter & feather flags do not play an important role in the fulfillment of the events mentioned. Its presence on these occasions is simply to inform the crowd that an event is ongoing. And since it captivates most, if not all of the participants and spectators, flutter flags became advertising mediums wherein sponsoring companies print their names, logos and products being advertised. This marketing concept proved to be effective even on new products because it brings awareness to the public. And for older brands and products, this concept strengthened the loyalty of its consumers.
In addition,
flutter flags serve as a diversion to those people who are bored with an event or when he simply has nothing to do. By looking at those flags, particularly the design and color scheme used, it calms his senses and relieved of the pressures in work, play and family. In doubt with what I've said? Regardless of what flutter flags do in any event, people always expect its presence because it gives life to a dull and boring environment.
