Preparing for a fight always takes time and a keen eye for detail. The moment you missed something while you tried to prepare is the moment the opponent gains an advantage. That is why soldiers need to prepare for their own units and their own assignments. The lack of preparation can lead to them failing their mission. And if you want to win the war, you won't give them the chance to forget something.

Soldiers belong to different units. These units have different tasks that they specialize in. While all of them can fire a gun, only a few units are capable of rapid insertion via parachute. The different units in an army usually have their own military flags. These flags signify the kind of training that they receive during boot camp. These flags also tell the amount of respect that should be given to them. Some of these units are actually special troops who underwent a different training regiment that makes them the best of the best.

Perhaps the most elite soldiers are in the sniper division. This is because they usually operate behind enemy lines. This means that they have to have the best chance of completing their mission and coming out alive to tell their commander about it. They are trained shoot over long distances. This also means that they have to factor in the wind and the pull of gravity to make the shot. They practice reading the wind by setting up blank flags and trying to tell which direction the wind is blowing and how strong the wind is.
