Farming for rice just doesn't end there. To be truly effective, you need to follow a specific cycle of planting, harvesting, and resting. After all, you will want your profits to continue pouring in. The first thing that you have to do is to divide your plot into different sectors. You can do this by setting up perimeters of blank flags. This is for you to identify which plot will be harvested before the others. If you don't do something like this, it could be difficult for you to know where things are. And it could cost you time and money to just figure out where to start harvesting and where to start planting.

The most important thing to remember is to let the land rest. The reason why you have a cycle is not just to keep the profits rolling in but to also give the soil a little time to rest and replenish its store of nutrients that plants will need. This is because plants absorb nutrients while growing. Simply exhausting the supply will mean that future plants will not have anything left to grow on. This is why you need to set apart plots of land. You can do this by setting up utility markers around the area that you just harvested. This way, you know which area to leave alone.

If you know what you're doing, you won't have a problem with sustainable profits. You also won't have a problem of deciding when to plant and when not to. Just time things with the weather and you will do fine.
