Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

Monday, April 4, 2011
July fourth is a very important date in the American history. This is due to the fact that this is the date of commemorating America’s Independence Day. During this time, you can see star banners and US world flags decorated everywhere on business establishments, busy streets, important landmarks, and vehicles. There are also people proudly waving these US symbols in the air.

One more popular symbol that you can oftentimes see during Independence Day in the US is the Betsy Ross Flag. It is called so because they say that she is the designer behind America’s flag. Debates are still going on and people still argue if it was really her. However, since there is lack of evidence in discrediting her, she has still remained an icon, a hero probably, who is a great loyalist of her home country.

This Betsy Ross flag incorporated thirteen stars in its design. These stars represent the thirteen states who led the start of the American Revolution. With this rich history, it is just no question why people praise their national flags and even choose to die for it than give it up just to uplift their pride.

Every Independence Day, be it in the US or in other countries, people look back in their past and reminisce about their deep history. People try to remember the exact events that happened and teach it to the next generation. After which, celebration for freedom usually follows which was hard earned and worthy of remembrance and respect even decades after.
