Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

Thursday, April 14, 2011
One of the most stereotypical concept of custom flags, or any flags at that is that it is some sort of symbol of prestige and identity. While this is more of a grounded fact since man manifested the concept of nationality and security, flags have evolved more of simply being a waving symbol of a warning that if you mess with their people, you are bound to get into trouble.

The modern flags have different uses such as sporting symbols, coat-of-arms, aesthetic designs, community festival signage, and what have you. While the past flags were used as a means of highly coveted symbol of royalty and demarcation among the masses of who was higher in the caste system, the flags of yesterday and today still hold that certain honor when being hoisted.

Wherever a flag is raised in full mast, people would identify that as an identity of pride by the one owning it. Respect and recognition unspoken is rendered where these symbols are placed. Any violation or signs of disrespect such as vandalism or mutilating it is punishable by law.

During the medieval times, custom crest flags had a graver circumstance when caught with a person maligning it. Usually, those days knew only of harsh punishments such as chopping of hands, a visit to the dungeons, a session of back flaying, and even a meeting with death himself. If you were lucky enough to be pardoned by a merciful king, it would certainly be an act of God that your life was spared.
