Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

Wednesday, January 2, 2013

A good and stable work table is one of the most important pieces of furniture needed for manufacturing fabric custom flags. Based on how tall you are, you will need the proper table standing 28 to 36 inches. You can also save more by making your own work tabletop. Find a sheet of plywood measuring 4 by 8 feet then get two cardboard to place on the top surface. Take a mattress pad made of 100% cotton then put it on top of the cardboard too. This will give you extra cushioning.

The canvas top is the final touch on the work table. You can staple the canvass to properly secure it. Only staple on the underside of the plywood to keep the staples out of sight. Afterwards, you can work on the table conveniently. You can do a variety of tasks on it like pinning, cutting and ironing banners and flags. The standard table can accommodate banners of various shapes and sizes. You might also need another person to help build the perfect work table for your custom flag making business.

After you work and sew, you will find several extra pieces of material. You should properly place these inside colored bins that can be stacked easily. This will make the workplace more organized and also make it easier for you to find items and tools. The bins usually fit under the worktable. Cut a small piece of each fabric then stick it in front of the bin to know what you’re storing inside. This way, you don’t have to open each one.
