Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

Wednesday, October 9, 2013
Many people travel to different parts of Europe just to witness the great sights and historical places. They will also notice the many flags coming from the countries of Europe. Many of these feature flags with at least three colors. There are also others that have unique elements and emblems.
The flag of Luxembourg is one of the most appealing. It features 3 horizontal stripes and the colors blue, red and white. Similar to the United States, many people all across Europe show respect and love of country by positioning flags outside their homes or offices. There are special events and holidays in which citizens are asked to wave small and big flags in the air to share the spirit of patriotism.
The Luxembourg flag was first introduced more than a century ago and has undergone a number of changes through the years. Similar to other nations, Luxembourg did not have a flag of its own until 1830. The design of the banner was made in 1848 and was only adopted many decades later.
The Luxembourg flag is also the same as other European flags. It has a close resemblance to the flag of the Netherlands. The Luxembourg version, however, has a lighter blue color. When European flags are placed together, people might find it hard to point out one from the other because of the close elements.
The tones that are shown on the Luxembourg flag on top of flag poles today are still the same as those featured many years ago.
