There are plenty of types of banners that are available in the market; to some they call it custom made flags. It is called as such because it is designed and made according to how the user wants it, depending on the purpose of its use. It is very common to see flags that are rectangular in shape because this is the traditional style. But for some, they prefer to make their flags look unique by having it made with unusual flag shapes such as feather or inverted carrot-like shape with a wider base than the opposite side. Some have triangular shape; others use an oval shape although this one is rarer.
In order not to divert the message much, flag designers prefer to use the traditional rectangular shape in order to give the focus on what is the design inside the flag, whether it is a logo, symbol or words. The choice of colors is important as well because for some, colors are not merely for beauty and attraction but colors have specific meanings. For example, black is often linked to sadness or threat while white is for peace or purity.
Custom made flags are very much adaptable for any use. It can be placed at public locations and buildings, on moving vehicles such as motorcycles, cars or boats, and even inside offices and malls. Bottom line and in most cases, these are made to represent or promote something, more than just mere decorations. They are made versatile enough to give a message to all present and future buyers.
