Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

Tuesday, December 10, 2013
Custom flags are best seen in mounts or similar display types. We see flags all around us mounted in different and creative ways, or just the simple and more conservative method. If you plan on having one mounted soon, you may choose from one of these basic types as a start.
The flagpole or pole mount is perhaps one of the most prominent mounts for custom flags. Schools, government offices, and similar establishments have their custom flags hoisted up high so that everyone could see them. This setup makes use of one of the sides of the flag as a base, aligned alongside and parallel to the pole. In this kind of setup, washers or D-rings are placed on the opposite ends of the side aligned with the pole, and the attachment rope attached on opposite sides in a bungee-pulley system. This system allows the flag to sway along the gusts of wind, given the fact that the location of flags is quite high and unobstructed. This also allows the flag to be easily hoisted up and down as needed.
The T-mount is also used for those located in low clearance. The horizontal frame holds as the base for the flag and the vertical as the support. In this setup, the flag may be hung down from the top, or mounted with screws and pins. The center vertical frame adds extra form to the hung custom flag.

Fences make good and creative mounts for custom flags as well. Since fences are practically a surface, the flags may be mounted flat on it, mounted with corner washers and rope or wire tied on fence posts.
