Traditionally, car flags were only seen either during the national flag day where all Americans are practically busy posting, hanging and displaying of the American flag or during occasions where an important person such as a country ambassador or state leader visits a particular area. Of course during that time we see the presence of other flags such as country flags, state flags and institutional flags. But today, we almost always see car flags in about 4 out of 10 cars that pass us by. Not only do we see American car flags but also we see other types sporting a school or company logo, sports team logo and organization symbols. All of these representing one's support over a particular group that he fully admires and endorse.
Notice when the NBA finals is near, team fans rush to stores where they can purchase team paraphernalia to show their loyalty. Likewise to encourage other supporters to participate and attend the games where their team is playing. Some buy team jackets, sweatshirts and caps; others purchase cups and pens; and even some order custom car flags and banners just to flaunt around town that they are hooting for a particular team. Take for instance this past week; I've already seen a couple of
custom car flags with Los Angeles Lakers logo imprinted on it. And as the days go by, more and more car flags can be expected in the busy streets of the city. People are just happy that their favorite team might end up being the champion of the season.
