Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

Saturday, December 10, 2011
Advertising campaigns can be found everywhere, such as custom street banners, posters and billboards. These are visible along highways, city streets and atop the tallest buildings. Efforts for and against advertising are made by different groups and government agencies for various reasons too.

Many cities all over the world have unique laws and guidelines regarding banners. Limits are generally set on different features of the banner, such as how long the display should stay posted, the size and measurements and where it's going to be put up. The local government also can also a percentage via fees and acquisition of permits. A number of places do not allow certain advertisements of products and companies. Los Angeles, in particular, planned to let advertisers present banners to generate income, although there are limits that the revenue should not go over 20% of the total area provided for the banner.

The Russian government in Moscow prohibited street banners and provided a repayment plan for advertisers who already have displays put up. Custom banner businesses are speculated to go down, so income generation and work in the business will also decrease. Hundreds could lose their jobs because of the move. The street banners are known to promote ideas for viewers. In Moscow, these are considered risks, because many officials and agencies find that the ads lead to misrepresentation of products and companies, as well as  cause more traffic in heavily populated areas.

The vital idea when setting up street banners is to be responsible throughout the process. Proper posting and disposal is required after the message has been conveyed. The advertisement should also be honest and understanding to all parties and expected viewers.
