Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

Wednesday, January 2, 2013

The sewing room is one of the most important areas of your flag manufacturing business. You will also require a strong sewing cabinet where you can keep many of your custom flags, banners, sewing tools and accessories. Cover these when not in use to prevent dust from accumulating and to keep the material from fading.

The threads, bobbins, etc. should also be placed on racks adjacent to the sewing machine. You can also put these on a peg board. Be sure to keep the materials away from directly sunlight.

If you find an empty wall space in the area, provide a flannel graph. Simply hang a huge flannel from floor to ceiling then place fabrics and banners on it so you can see how everything looks from a distance. You can appreciate the design and colors better with the flannel graph. You can also check the size and proportions.

To light up a sewing room, use fluorescent lights. These will adequately make it easier and more convenient for you to stitch, layout and prepare accurately. When it comes to flooring, you can pick from various materials like a carpet, linoleum or hardwood. The latter two are preferred so that threads and needles are easier to pick up.

Arranging the sewing room is important to guarantee that your custom flag and banner workplace remains organized and you work efficiently at all times.

You should also talk to other flag manufacturers and experts. View their sewing rooms if they allow for ideas on how to prepare your own.
