Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

Flags are used to show one’s sense of patriotism. Just like any
patriot, displaying these beauties in public shows how proud you are
to swear allegiance. In order to maximize your US flag’s potential in
being seen in public, here are a few guidelines to keep in mind.

When hanging your flag at home, it is important to note that your flag
should at least be properly hung by any chosen surface you decide
upon. For example, hanging on your front porch or front wall beside
your main entrance should be made sure that the fixtures are well
placed; that is, using proper hooks or nails securely embedded on the
surface. Also take note that your flag should have eyelets in this
manner so as not to damage the flag with the nails or hooks.

Another important reminder should be to keep the US flag as secure
from the weather as possible. It is good to consider placing the flag
where rain or direct sunlight would prolong its exposure. However,
some would give much more effort in displaying the flag by having a
personal flag pole out in their front lawns. In this case, exposure
may be considered as justification.

When having multiple flags displayed side by side though, it is
important to maintain the order of placement to render the same
acknowledgment and respect. A rule of thumb would be to start off with
the National flag, followed by the state flag, then by the territory
flag, then by the military flag, and finally all the other personal or
group flags. In this regard, it is imperative that you start off with

the US flag.
