People will need adequate space to house all their custom tent guests. When there is a big storm or the weather turns for the worse, the right tent will be needed.
The tent floor must be made of waterproof coated nylon. This will adequately cover the floor and will turn up at the sides by about one-half foot. A tub is made which will prevent flooding inside the tent. The seam should also be minimal. The tent will start to leak if you have too many seams. Make sure that the tent’s shape properly lets rainwater run down the side and under it.
The tent should have waterproof rain fly and canopies as well. These are usually made of coated nylon and will go around the tent and over the sides, so that there are only a few inches left for the rain to get in contact with. The rain will effectively be flushed away from the tent. There are some tent models with a vestibule to properly keep rainwater off and out of the area. The fly must be long enough to cover the door space.
The tent should have enough sunlight, air flow and space to house accessories too. The rain fly will give shade and cover people properly. Screen windows on the opposite sides of the tent will also properly let air in through the tent.
When camping for several days in extreme weather or surroundings, a heavy-duty tent is needed. You can even invest in a three-season tent featuring the characteristics above. The rain fly is very important. The custom tent should also properly let water vapor breathe out.
