Cornhole can be played indoors and outdoors depending on the weather conditions and the people playing. Since its birth in the 1980s thousands of people now frequently play the game because it is simple to learn and fun. The game will involve several people so you can form groups of two to four. The cornhole boards should be tough and can withstand impact because you will be throwing the cornhole bags at these to score points. People like to color their bags in different colors. Color your bags with at least two tones – one for each of the two opposing teams.
Some people like playing cornhole beside a lake or beach because they can enjoy the atmosphere with family and friends and there is more space to throw the bags around. The bags will generally hit hard surfaces so check the cloth and filling and make sure that the corn or pellets inside do not keep falling out.
You can also make your own cornhole bags to save more cash. The standard measurement is six by six inches. Each team should have at least four bags. Smaller groups will require two bags per team.
Get all the necessary items to start making the cornhole bags. The most important items include a duck canvas, sewing materials and the corn or pellet filling. Make four bags of one color then another set featuring a different color. Be creative and add images on the bags. Sew three sides of the bag then fill each with about 15 ounces of filling. There should be enough filling purchased to be contained in all bags.

Cut the cloth into 8x8 inches for each bag. Sew three sides of the bag and keep the last one open where you will pour the 15-ounce filling. After you fill and weigh the bag, stitch the fourth side close. You may now start tossing the cornhole bag.
