Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

Tuesday, October 6, 2015
Flagpoles have transformed much through the centuries. These are now available in more styles, types and materials. Before, wooden flagpoles were very common. These were planted in front of schools, government buildings and homes. Now, there are aluminum types that can come in various colors. There are also telescoping models that can carry flags several feet high. Flagpoles are generally set up by people who want to spread patriotism and are proud of their country.
An external halyard system setup follows the traditional way of displaying flags. The usual setup will include an aluminum pole with a ball on top. This may also have a strong revolving truck feature. Other parts of the setup may include snap hooks, an aluminum ornamental flash collar, a single sheave, a braided nylon halyard, cast aluminum cleat and a ground sleeve preparation. Flagpoles that have an external halyard system will generally include a halyard rope and pulley. The halyard is made of nylon set up on the pulley. It is also named a halyard hole and pulley assembly by some. The halyard may have two snap hooks on it. These will be for the US flag grommets. The flagpole may also have a cleat where extra rope is positioned. There are other upgrades present like a halyard system and a double cleat. Other things to know about include halyard channels, cast collars, durable truck setups and eagles.
The internal halyard system flagpole includes a cable and will protect it against vandalism. The middle of the system has a stainless steel gearless winch. It is placed on a rotating platform thereby making it more convenient to keep for long. The winch handle does not have to be exposed outside. It can be accessed via an aluminum door.
