Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

Tuesday, January 7, 2014
At all possible times should the American flag be flown at full mast,
with full pride for everyone to see. This goes well with other flags
of great note and prestige. However, there are times when the national
flag may be flown in different manners, all of which has a different
social or political meaning.

For example, an American flag flown at half mast would be justifiable
if the reason for doing so is to honor and mourn the passing of a
national hero or asset on and off the motherland. However, the manner
to achieve this pole position is to raise the flag first to full mast
then slowly lower it to half to give honor before the bereavement.

The star panel should be oriented at the upper left corner. In no
manner should the flag be hoisted upside down unless the need for
immediate assistance is needed such as after a tragedy or disaster. In
any other instance, flying it upside down would just be disrespectful.

Showing nationalistic pride does not only merit any individual to
carry the American flag. Even American related flags such as the flags
of the armed forces, and the socio civic groups already show their
affiliation to the national flag. Though not as directly overwhelming
than using the US flag, these secondary flags already show enough of
American influence in the endeavors related to them.

There are a wide variety of options to show allegiance to the American
flag even when using custom designs. It may include the stars or the
stripes or even the word USA. Whatever the design may be, the American
flag goes beyond its own design. It is the essence of being an

American.
