Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

History would tell us that if there was one thing common throughout
time, it is that there is constant change. People have changed
governments, changed styles, culture, fashion, allegiances, and
basically everything else that speak of people have changed over the
years. Even things such as technology and lifestyle aren’t exempted.
Even the very simple custom flag has seen its share of changes
alongside the need of people to use them.

Flags have been already present during the time when man started to
write and communicate. During these early times, the identity of
people of similar interests had to be represented so that it would be
acknowledged by others. Socialization of people also was the start of
wars and conflicts, usually for territory, power, prestige, or
survival. These flags which bore the name and symbols of these groups
were more than just pieces of cloth; they were more of an insignia
which denoted pride and prestige.

Custom flags would be retaining their affinity with the military for
quite awhile, serving as banners for the different divisions and
armies created by the nations. Of course these flags would be one of
the icons that would serve as a patriotic symbol on battle, with
soldiers and warriors keeping them flying high to give others a morale
boost. Bringing one down would mean a definitive defeat.

Centuries later and several wars after, nations have become more
diplomatic in dealing with other nations. Flags in this regard lost a
little of their exclusive affinity with war, and became much more
flexible, now going into a new niche – sports. The creation of sports
signaled a similar battle between groups or nations, but this time in
a more civilized and human manner. Flags of nations as well as flags
of sporting events would fill up event places, not to mention the
numerous banners and custom flags  of the sponsors and promoters
cashing in on sports.
