Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

Tuesday, March 18, 2014
Flagpoles can be mounted to different structures such as street poles and light poles using brackets for flagpoles. These special accessories will hold the pole in place in a vertical, horizontal or diagonal manner, depending on the type of flag raised and occasion. There are brackets made of steel, iron and aluminium that will conveniently attach the pole and make it last for many months or years.

Ordering a package will include bolts, bands and adhesives to hold the poles securely in place. Each package will cost anywhere between $40 and $100 depending on the model and size. There are brackets for flagpoles that will accommodate round or square poles. The type of bolt needed will also depend on the shape of the pole. Check different manufacturers and observe how these should be installed. The kind of material needed will also depend on the type of pole whether you’re using aluminium, fiber glass or brass.

Most packages will include an instruction manual that will guide you how to install the parts together so the flagpole is properly fastened to the street pole. Also consider the weight and size of the flag. Bigger flags and poles will require more or bigger brackets. Ideally, the size of the street or light pole should be bigger than the flagpole it supports. Other models will also include supporting ligaments to fully support the pole.

You can have the brackets for flagpoles customized according to the location of the street pole. Prepare replacement parts for customized packages as well since you won’t be able to repair the setup using ready-made materials in hardware stores.
