Cleat covers are more than just an accessory to make a flag and flagpole look presentable. These are additional devises attached to a flagpole to prevent a flag from being carried by wind, especially by strong ones. Some flags have ropes attached. Through the cleats the rope has something to be tied or knotted at. And these cleats must be mounted by cleat covers.
There are many types of cleat covers that are seen in the market.
