Puerto Rico is a small country but its beauty is widespread all over the globe. A lot of tourists visit each year to witness the remarkable landscapes and attractions. Its citizens are proud to be part of the country and for many good reasons. For a long time, Puerto Rico has shown its strength and upheld the virtues that made it one of the richest nations in terms of culture and history. For many years, the country tried to maintain and keep its culture by passing on the practices and traditions from one generation to the next.
Many Puerto Ricans also get tattoos regularly. These are useful in showcasing their feelings, principles and interests. There are actually people who have the Puerto Rico flag tattooed on their back, chest or arms to share their pride and loyalty.
For these individuals, tattooing the flag of their nation lets others know that they are loyal and share the values and traditions of their ancestors. There are two colors on the banner – three red stripes and a couple of white stripes. There is a blue triangle and white star on the flag too.

The red stripes on the flag represent blood, which was shed by during the battle for democracy. The white stripes stand for peace and freedom. The white star stands for the Commonwealth. The country became one in 1952. Finally, the blue triangle stands for the government of the country. Puerto Rico’s flag can be tattooed by an expert artist, complete with the colors and details.
